WiFi connected but not online

I know what you are probably thinking, here we go with another kitkat hater, fussing about his phone, but I do have a real problem here. I have my WiFi on, there is service here, I am connected to the router the phone shows a strong signal, but I'm not online. What is up? What am I not doing?

try rebooting the phone and if that doesnt work go into bootloader and then recovery and wipe your cache partition. Dont worry you dont lose any of your stuff.
