Wifi connected but will not work

All week now I've been having trouble connect to wifi. I thought it was just my wifi, but then I tried connecting to others' wifi and it wouldn't work either. I've tried restarting it and "forgetting" the networks several times but I still can't get my wifi to work. Also, like it says in the title, it always says it's connected but yet it does not work.

Please provide some more information. HTC One X (Endeavoru) or HTC One XL / at&t One X (Evita)? Is the phone modified at all, or stock? If it's modified what ROM are you on? Have you changed anything on the phone or router directly before encountering this problem?
