Every time my ISP (WISP actually) changes my IP address, my phone will have trouble following the change. My ip address was the same from 12/22 until this morning. Right now, the phone shows WiFi Connected, no Internet. I know I can unplug/plug the router to fix, but I'm curious why just the phone has trouble. The desktop (wired), wireless: laptop, Asus ChromeBOX and 3 ip cameras can find and follow the change (they are getting data). Tried rebooting the phone, no dice. My Samsung Galaxy Tab S isn't connecting either. I'm pretty sure I've had this problem about 5 years, with every Android phone (Nexus 6P, Nexus 6, Note 2, HTC EVO). Again, just curious.
Background, new router about 4 months ago (Netgear AC1750 R6400, previous was Netgear WNDR3700v2, Netgear WNDR1000v3). I use DynDNS because of the cameras.
