WiFi connection issues after JB

I was having issues initially with my WiFi disconnecting frequently after the JB install until I found the following setting, and it's made all the difference. Go to Settings/WiFi
then hit menu and go to Advanced,

then un check Avoid poor connections.

Parts of my house bounce between 1-2 bars on WiFi, but I never lost connections before JB. I'm just glad changing the setting worked for me. Hope it helps others out too!

One of my favorite things is in this same menu, and that's "to notify me when an open network is available".....mine was unchecked which is great since I hated seeing that question mark all the time when it found a network on ICS.

Used wifi last night at a sports bar without any issues.

My spouse was having the same issue with the wifi shutting off and the phone going to the 4g signal around our house. I went into the advanced settings and changed as the original poster said. Thanks, so much.

Same here but I am very concerned about the phone saying that the WiFi connection is poor when I'm sitting right next to my router. I now see one bar most of the time in the house where prior to the JB update I would see 2-3 consistently.
