I've been using my Optimus phones as wifi adapters and have been having crashes every so often. Was wondering if anyone else has had these problems and/or has any knowledge of how to stop the crashes if possible.
I'm currently experiencing the problem on both ZVD and ZVH so far on every rom I've loaded: Cold as Ice/KravensCM7/HydroROM/Reborn/YourMoms. I'm using EasyTether on HydroROM and I can usually get quite some time out of it before the wifi freezes and displays Error. Have to reboot to fix it.
Not sure if this has to do with EasyTether or PDA-net, as it happens with both and I haven't tried any other USB tether solutions yet (don't know of any good ones). I've been impatient and low on time so I haven't tested to see if it happens more on PDA-net or EasyTether, but every time I've tried PDA-net it's when I'm frustrated and it has frozen pretty fast on it.
I have tested various over and underclocking, along with each different I/O and CPU gov's with no noticeable affect on the timing of the crashes.
Addendum: Watching netflix, I couldn't watch a movie without restarting about 5-6 times through the movie due to freezing. But there are times I can play League of Legends for hours and not freeze.
If anyone has any input that would be great, thanks.
