Got my Note 8 last Friday and really like it. However, I am noticing that when my screen is off, WiFI is disconnecting. And when I turn the screen back on and unlock the phone, I notice that it takes several seconds to reconnect to my WiFI network.
Now I have checked the WiFI settings and have made sure that is it set to always "Keep WiFI on during sleep". Adaptive WiFI is not turned on.
The main issue I have with this is when I am using YouTube and casting to my Chromecast. Every time I turn the phone back on to play another video, fast-forward, rewind, etc... it loses connection to my Chromecast and I have to manually reconnect. This is because the WiFI on my phone is disconnecting my from home network when the screen goes off.
Am I missing a setting or is this the expected behavior?
