WiFi dropping every couple seconds

I started having this problem a couple days ago, and I don't know what could be causing it. I'll be using my phone in my house and all of the sudden a message saying no network available, and it takes a couple seconds to come back. It doesn't have to do with my connection strength, because It's happening even in my room, 5 feet away from my router, and also when it happens it doesn't show the signal icon losing all the bars, the signal icon completely goes away and comes back, as if I turned WiFi off and back on again. Has anyone else been having this problem, or is there something I can do to try and fix it without doing a factory reset?

did you try rebooting your modem and wifi router? also delete wifi spot on phone, reboot phone, and re-add spot.

good luck.

Yes I got the update as soon as it hit, if that is the issue I hope there is a patch soon... Also, Gekko I will try your suggestions and see if it fixes the problem

Had the same problem when updating to 4.3 along with the power issues.

As much of a pain in the **** it was, a factory reset solved these problems.

After resetting my router and WiFi settings, it's not any better. Also my battery is draining a lot faster now. Considering doing a factory reset.

It's a bug with 4.3! Some people say it's the new firmware, but I didn't flash it and I was having issues with both radios on WiFi. Downgraded back to 4.1.2 and haven't had anymore problems.

I did a factory reset on my phone and the problem was still happening. I was thinking about installing a custom rom, but my phone started acting weird and then stopped receiving signal from Sprint. I took it into one of their stores and after trying to fix it for about 3 hours they gave me a replacement.

I found that after updating to 4.3 I had some problems. I did a profile update and some things got worse. I did the profile update 2-3 more times until the problems seemed to clear, I haven't had any issues since.

I have seen this on my phone before, but just assumed it was my WiFi.

Could this be related to the problem that causes some of our phones to drop out of 4g randomly?

Sitting at my desk in downtown Atlanta, my Sprint One jumps out of 4g randomly. 3g seems as slow as non-3g phones from other carriers.

If I turn data off, then on again- 4g is back for a good while. So weird. Not sure if sprint or HTC.

That is probably just a weak 4g signal. It holds until a heavy data task comes along and drops.

This solution, worked for me on day one.

Settings- Mobile Data- Network Mode, check CDMA Only.

Did you have insurance on your phone? I went to a Sprint store and they said it would cost $75 to just look at my phone. I haven't had ins on my last two phones and they gave me a replacement, so I don't know if this is new Sprint Policy. Haven't bothered calling yet.
