Wifi Dropping

Does anyone else have issues with the Wifi dropping? I finally got some quality time with my Xoom yesterday and in a one hour time period, the Wifi dropped a handful of times. This happened a couple of times the night before, but I did not think much of it.

Mine drops but only when I'm in the room farthest from our crappy router. My X and MBP do the same.

Yep. This is really my only gripe with the xoom. I love it, though in direct comparisons with my ipad, the xoom drops wifi in weaker areas where ipad maintains a usable signal.

I have a solid WiFi connection with no drops. At least in my house, that is.

Unlike the iPad I owned before, the Xoom has a very solid and fast wifi connection.

I'm pretty amazed that it picks up the wifi signal from my apartment complex just as good as my MacBook. I'm loving this thing!!

I had this problem this morning. In one room I was fine all night, moved to a room slightly farther away and then it would drop the signal. My Dinc was fine, but it was running on 802.11g and Xoom is on 802.11n.

what is your signal strength? what security are you use?

My signal strength is at least 50%. I use WPA2 security on a Belkin N router (about a year old) with no issues on my Droid 1, or any other devices in the house (iPhone, iPad, laptops).

Hopefully this gets worked out in the first update.
