wifi file transfer, PC to N4 & viceversa, options?

After checking a number of "free" apps - & finding limiting file transfer etc. unless you pay for the "pro" version - I was going to do just that (pay for one) when I found this "Wifi File Transfer" app at the PlayStore. It's free, small (368KB) & it requires you to install a java little program in your PC & that's it. Just finished transferring a 1GB file PC to N4, flawlessly. Any other apps similar, better?

Does AirDroid limit file transfer? I don't think there's a Pro version for it.

You are right, no pro version but (my objection to it was) I seem to recall it had registration requirements (to a cloud website) &/or some file size limit. Regardless, smaller, efficient app programming appeals to me & I'm always looking for others (to support). Thanks.

Especially handy with NAS drive, if you have one.

Airdroid dont limit on file size if you are on the same wifi. there is a pro version which need registration and would let you transfer file when not on the same wifi.

registration is only required if you want to transfer file from different wifi. No registration needed for same network file transfer
