Wifi is really slow

Hello and thanks for looking,

My issue is not the common disconnecting issue, it is that I am only getting about 10-20% of my wifi speed from the router. Side by side with my Galaxy S8 and a new Lenovo M8 plus when I do an online speed test, The S8 gets 80+ Mbps, the Lenovo gets about 30, but the Tab S3 gets about 8 to 12? These were all compared in the same space, after a fresh restart ans at the same website....Googles internet speed test site. I am thinking it must be hardware whenever I try and search for articles about a hardware solution I get nowhere. Does anyone have any suggestions? I think my Tab has more life left but this wifi issue is making me consider purchasing another tablet.

Are they all connected to the same wifi frequency?
