WiFi Issues in Note 3

Had a similar problem with wifi working fine in Safe MOde, but shutting off within 30 secs in regular mode. Tracked the problem back to a recent update from McAfee Mobile Security which added Web Security features. For whatever reason, it flagged by WPA secure Wifi as "Unsecure" and kept shutting it down. By opening Web security in the App and turning off Wifi Security my problem was solved. For the record, it did this at TWO (2) separate (but both COMCAST) wifi locations. I find it hard to believe they were both compromised or being sniffed.

Thank you soooooo much for your solution! My Wi-Fi worked fine up until 3 weeks ago. Wi-Fi just stopped working for No reason. I had to go to best buy and get a Samsung Rep to flash my phone with the 4.4.4 update. Samsung couldn't figure out the issue with my Wi-Fi either. Checked my wifi with Clear as well. I had tried everything except a hard reset and replacing my phone. I finally came upon your post and voila! Disabled wifi protection on mcafee and my wifi works! Thank you sooo much again!

Thanx. Seems to work fine now.

I fixed my problem. I am using connectify in my laptop. But my note 3 shows unstable wifi connection. Then I updated my laptop wifi driver. Then in note 3 I off wifi power saving mode by dialing *#0011#. Then I unchecked all notifications in the wifi advanced menu. That's it.

I have problem with wifi and I check at a lot but not I have no idea ? so plz I need help !
