Ok so im having wifi issues... like so many others, but mine don't seem to be the same so i wanted to see if i was alone or what.
First of all, i can't use a widget to turn on wifi. If i do wifi will turn on bit wont connect. When i open the wifi settings menu and turn on wifi that way, as long as i watch it connect to the network it will go fine. If i use a widget to turn on wifi, i have to then open wifi settings. I don't have to tap on my network, i just have to look at the list for it to connect.
Also, my wifi doesn't disconnect from my network, but it will stop pulling data. Ill be in the middle of browsing, or watching a streaming video and all of a sudden no more data will transfer. I live in a dead zone, so i don't have any 3g in the house and very little 1x. Its annoying to have to leave what im doing, turn off wifi, turn it back on, watch it connect to the network, then go back to what i was doing.
Anyone else have this strange issue with widgets and randomly loosing data flow while connected?
If it matters im using a monkeys router (wg54 something i think) and using wep.
