I have 2 devices on my wireless g network. Galaxy Nexus and BlackBerry Playbook. Running speedtest.net on the PB yields average 16 - 25mb down. Using the android speedtest app I get around 6mb down. Any ideas why the PB is faster?
I can't speak for the playbook but I have a Nexus and a Xoom and my Xoom never goes above 4mb while my Nexus gets closer to my 30mb connection. I have no idea why but it bugs the hell out of me.
What's it get with bluetooth turned on? I can get 28mb also on my ubee router but it gets cut in half or more when my BT is turned on.
Also, I can only get 28mb on my ubee router. I've tried two different access points - trendnet and TP-Link. I'm lucky to get 10-15mb on those devices. The speedtest graphs look like mountain peaks and valleys with lots of dropouts. I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with any access point out there?
