Wifi Power Save

Hey folks. I know about the Wifi Power Save by dialing *#0011# code. I think I heard somewhere that doing this for a few times well it can lock your phone/sim. Is this true? I only need to disable Wifi Power Save when I am far from my router and would like it to work as best as possible.

I have never heard of it locking a SIM as it has nothing to do with the SIM.

Power save re-enables on reboot as well.

Thanks Almeuit; I read recently that it indeed, does re-enables itself upon reboot. I wonder why Samsung didn't put this setting under the regular Wifi settings and feels it needs to always be enabled? Honestly, there shouldn't be a secret setting to boost the Wifi.
