WiFi Problems

Do yourself a favor and don't send it back. Go somewhere else you can connect to WiFi and see if your phone holds a stable connection there.

I have this EXACT same problem on my One M8 with my work wifi. Ever 60 seconds, disconnect, reconnect. Otherwise works fine. I've tried RMAing phone for a new one, tried a custom rom at one point. Nothing worked. It works perfectly fine on every other WiFi connection I've used, including my home wifi.

Sometimes it is indeed bad luck of the draw. The WiFi built into the 6p apparently just doesn't play well with your router. At least that is my guess. Try other places and see what happens before you return.

I'm suspecting it's having trouble with 5GHz. I will do more tests.

Ah, I have the same problem with 5GHz a lot. I don't know what the deal is with that, I've had my phone, Playstation and tablet continuously drop that frequency on a dual mode modem/router combo I used to have from Hitron so I gave up and just stuck with the regular frequency (2.4 or whatever it is can't remember)

Could be. My phone seems to love 5 ghz, even when 2.4 has stronger signal. My little school laptop hates the home router and wants to be closer to it than any other device to not drop signal...

Those are horrible. Even time warner recommends you get a separate router. All my problems WiFi problems resolved when I bought my own.
