WiFi signal gets weaker and drops on phone

My router is in the living room. I've never had connection issues with it when I'm around the house, whether I'm in the basement or bathroom. When I'm in my room the signal is pretty strong.
Recently when I enter my room the signal goes down to the point where it turns off. When I'm near my room door the signal comes back. when I'm anywhere in the house the signal is fine, but when I'm in my room and closer to the window the signal gets weak.
My laptop is near the window as well and the wifi signal is just fine. How can I fix it? I have a samsung A01

Have you tried rebooting the router?
