Wifi Switching to AT&T

I get free wifi at work but every now and then I notice my phone switched from my work wifi to the AT&T wifi which I rather it didn't to my AT&T data plan to be used when I'm not at work or home and need to it then.

I just want to be notified that it is switching or keep it from switching if I can. I have to constantly check and see which wifi I'm on to make sure.
Is there an app or way to notify me?

I don't know if there is an app, but I just turn off the auto connect to AT&T Wi-Fi wireless within the advanced options of your wireless. This way I manually connect to a wireless network and I know what one I am connected to at all times.

If it's switching to AT&T Wifi (AT&T has hotspots all over the place) it's not costing you data. If you install the Data On-OFF widget, you can easily control your data from the homescreen, and make sure it's off when you're on Wifi. Then if you switch to AT&T, you'll know it's their Wifi, not your data.

Push the settings button select wifi then push the settings button again Select advanced settings then uncheck the box that says automatically connect to att hot spots

If the att hot spot is faster then use it its not using your data
