Wifi Tether Problems

I have a rooted Droid X running BlackIce 35.1 rom. I haven't been able to use my Wifi tether for a while now and I've tried Open Garden, Barnacle Wifi Tether, Wifi tether for root users, and Wugfresh's Wifi Tehther Patcher. Can anyone please give me some insight to what the problem may be? I've also tried the wifi tether on Gummy rom 1.2.0, and YACK 1.2.0. Thanks in advance!
