The issue I am having is when I connect the wifi, it searches for available networks, but then it says "unable to scan for networks" and turns off wifi. I even tried entering in my own network. I am trying to not do a hard reset as I am on a business trip and don't have very good signal in the area.

I've searched online and can't seem to find a fix for this problem. I tried the Epic 4G fix, but it doesn't work as the terminal emulator commands do not work for me. Any help?

Hmm... Haven't had this issue. You've tried to doing it from settings, as opposed to the widget, right? Or the other way around depending on your usual habit.

I'm running into the same issue. I've tried factory resets, rooting and flashing the leaked ROM and am now running the BAMF ROM, still no joy on the WiFi. It's taking everything I have not to do horrible things to this phone and just eat the $100 insurance deductible for a new one. Of course, if I do that, I'll have to re-root and everything and that would just be annoying. :-P

I been having the same problem since Sat (5/14/11), i thought updating with the new OTA update would fix this issue, but it hasn't. I have searched this forum for any help/answers and nothing....does any one have any solutions???? its driving me nuts :'(

I have this same issue that I haven't been able to resolve, but have found a work-around for. I found that if I disable the "Mobile Network" option then the WiFi works and will scan/connect.
