WIFI Woes

I had a Motorola Turbo 2, pretty much the same as this Z2 Force with a much better battery. I changed, surprisingly, for the fingerprint security.

Anyhow, I notice that, even though I have 3-4 bars on my wifi icon, I cannot get decent connectivity on the far side of my house. I had no issues with the Turbo 2. Anyone having similar experiences?

Hello! Does this issue also occur with other devices in the home? Have you tried resetting your WiFi router?

No other devices have the problem including my old phone.

Yea its wierd and anoying as heck. I've been testing a few things today with no solution.

That's crazy.. My wifi works better then ever on my Z2 .I can get a signal outside in my front and backward where my iPhone had problems..

That's like comparing a Cray to a TI30 lol

Same issue here. Disconnects and reconnects continuously. I had no problem with my turbo

I have issues also with my Verizon Z2 Force, it has trouble with certain 802.11AC 5GHz access points, like the enterprise Sophos access point at work and an enterprise TPLINK EAP245. It connects at high data rates with a strong signal but then soon degrades to no throughput, disconnect and reconnects.. On the other hand, it does good with 2.4GHz networks and with my ASUS RT-AC68 router at 5GHZ , A Moto G5 plus has no problems on the same networks, same channels, I tried swapping out my Z2 Force with a warranty replacement but the 2nd phone did exactly the same thing. Still hoping for a software patch.???
