Will battery life decrease if left plugged over night?

I have left my nexus 10 connected over night, I want to know if there is any risks of losing battery life.

Batteries these days stop charging automatically when they hit 100% even if it's still connected. Then they'll go on and drain til about 95% and then charge back up and rinse and repeat until disconnected to avoid any overcharging.

I carge mine over night every night [except when I forget which is once or twice a week ;) ]

For some strange reason I've been hesitant to charge over night but I know it doesn't matter. Tonight I'll just charge it how I've charged every other device I've owned

Since I have had the original Droid phone back in 2009, the Droid2Global & now the Droid4, I have always put my phones in the dock overnight & whenever I am at work on the dock at my desk. Since I got my N10 on launch day I have always charged it overnight for at least 6 hours, sometimes as long as 12. As xlDeMoNiClx stated, the battery will not overcharge. The internal charging circuit is smart & measures your battery's volts, amps, temperature & regulates the current to keep it healthy & charged. Just like your laptop, no need to unplug it either.
