Will Call Screening come via Play update?

I actually got to use it today on one of those spams that use the first 3 digits of your cell phone number. It works just like advertised ... the spam call, however, was a recorded call, so I didn't get to hack anyone off, darn it!

I got mine via a play store update. Unlocked P2 on Verizon. Not on the beta.
I checked for any available updates this morning and a phone app update was there. Before downloading I checked and it did indeed say call screening feature was included. When I receive calls now I see the screening option pop up.

What is your new phone app version?

EDIT: oopps, Sorry , don't mean to mislead. I've just been informed by the kid in the house that I am indeed on the beta.

just realized that I also have the call screen transcripts function.... has a history saved of the phone call...
Found it under the call details. Must have just recently started (wasn't there the other day).
I read an article that said it would be out early next year... apparently not .

I wonder if this only saves if the call goes beyond the introduction. I had one last night that never made it through the introduction but I don't have the transcript.

I called myself .Phone B called phone A ,had the transcript .A short phone call just testing it out

That appears to be correct. It only saves the transcript if it gets past introduction.
It would be great to be able to pick a different introduction (have a few different options , or possibly make your own)
Otherwise, everyone that has seen/heard it is impressed.
