Will deleting an email app delete the Yahoo app/acct too?

will deleting email app delete yahoo app/acct too?

under the default applications, my phone has the email app. Under the application manager my phone has the Yahoo app for my emails. Both receive emails for my sbcglobal.net address. I only want to keep the Yahoo application. If I delete the email application under defaults will that remove the Yahoo application as well? Will I lose my emails for sbcglobal.net?

You shouldn't so long as you still have one app that uses that email
