I'm really going to use emulators on the Nexus TV so I can get my retro gaming on. Is there any reason I wouldn't be able to do this?

It does have a microUSB port as I understand. Roms aren't that big unless you're playing PSP or PSX.How would you get the roms on there?
One of these: usb otg cable | eBayStill wonder how to even connect a external HD as the micro USB is on the unit?
Thanks but no one will know if these will work. Someone here will surly test them when the Nexus Player comes out.One of these: usb otg cable | eBay
Also the emulator you use need to be compatible with external storage, which pretty much most of them will be.
Just download them in a browser like on a computer. I've done it on my tablet before. How would you get the roms on there?
