Will Ginger Bread add Front Camera Recording?

I read somewhere that GB added enhancements to the built in camera app of the Infuse.. Could this finally mean front video camera recording?? Or is this still a Samsung firmware issue? It would be great to make a self video using the front camera and send it off to the family.. As is, you can only snap photos with the Infuse front camera.. Or use it for video chap via Qix, Tango, etc.

well I'm running a gingerbread rom and i just checked out the camera. Can't use the front camera to record video, don't know if that will change with official gingerbread. I have used the hacked skype for a couple video calls and it works well.

From what I have read in the Gingerbread platform updates. FFC will be able to do video. I have posted a link to help further assist you.

That's what I said. Front facing camera works for video calls but you cannot use it to record video. That is what the op had initially asked about.
