Will I be able to change the charging port in my M8?

[AC Question]

My phone will not charge unless the cord is sitting just right. I thought it was just my cord but found out it is the charging port. I have talked to different people and one guy said he didn't know if he could put a new one in and said I could use a charging pad. He said that they are built with the receptacles in the back of the phone. Is that true? The second guy said there is no receptacles in the back and it wouldn't work.

dude i will prefer that you shouldnt ....i mean you can but if u are good at opening up things and puttin em back........in my view you should go to a store to get itn fixed
