Will I be able to install apps on SD card on the new Android Lollipop update?

I currently have a Moto G 2nd Gen. The phone only has 8 GB of storage, which easily runs out. I can't install apps like Spotify on a SD card or change location of the downloaded songs. In the new Lollipop update, will I be able to install high capacity apps on SD card? Or should I get a new phone with 32GB of storage?

i think u will be able to since applications can now have read and write access to directories on removable storage — even directories they do not own
