Will I be able to see the pixel 2XL in direct sunlight?

I wondered if anyone has this information, will I be able to see the Google pixel screen out in direct sunlight? I pre-ordered my pixel 2XL, and I'm coming from a Nexus 6p. The Nexus is very hard to see in sunlight, and since I work outside a lot I'm really hoping the pixel will be easy to see in the sun. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I noticed that my LG G6 is very hard to read in sunlight as well. My Lumia 950 was very easy to read and the screen was overall better which is surprising considering the 950 was about 2 years older.

It's an LG P-OLED panel so I'm guessing it's going to be very similar to the V30.

I heard the V30 is easy to see in sunlight.. Seeing how it's practice same screen, you shouldn't have any trouble.

Interesting video! I found the Note 8 to do something funny to the contrast when it cranks up the brightness in sunlight. App symbols look fuzzy, but text looks OK. That said I find the screen incredibly useful in bright light!
