Will I Really Notice the Dif?

I have been trying to pick up a Rezound on Ebay. I really could care less about ICS (believe it or not!) but will I notice any significant advantage to the stock Rezound over my rooted Tbolt (I won't be rooting the new phone).

If so in what ways will I notice the dif? I know the specs are much better but what advantages will I actually discern?

Thanks!

You won't notice a difference until your rez gets ics. Gingerbread does not use the 2 cores of the processor, so it's not the huge upgrade over a t-bolt until you get ics, then you should notice a difference.

Battery life is better on the Rezound believe it or not (it still kinda blows, but better) otherwise what he said

Used an upgrade for the Rezoound when it first came out and passed my TBolt to my daughter.

The rezound screen is awesome, much better than the TB. The radios are better, higher signal levels and GPS works well. At my location on the TB I would be lucky to get 2 or 3 satellites to lock up after a minute or two. On the Rezound I get 9 to 12 almost instantly. The Rezound is noticably faster/smoother than the TB.

I am looking forward to ICS mostly for the dual core support, with the rest being primarily a different look and feel which you may or may not like better than Gingerbread.

All in all, I am still very happy to have upgraded from the the TBolt, just can't tell my daughter that.

If GB does not support dual core, when did they use it for the Rez? that doe snot make a lot of sense!

They didn't make it for the Rez. The Rez was made way after GB. I'm sure the Rezound was developed with ICS in mind.

Yea the Rezound was developed for ICS, but shipped with a functioning version of GB on it else the Galaxy Nexus wouldn't have been a "premier developers phone with the latest and greatest".

Originally an ICS release was promised at the end of 2011......... and subsequent promises have been made and since passed.

Will Rezound get Sense 3.6 or one of the Sense 4 variants? I really like the looks of Sense 4 on the One X. In fact if I werent locked in with VZW for unlimited data I would switch to ATT to buy a One X. I cannot fathom why HTC didnt put it on VZW although I understand it must somehow be about the $$$

On the other hand I do like the menu and search keys and see no point in a separate key for recent apps.

3.6 only. If you want 4.0 you have to throw a rom on there.... Like mine is a mix of a few 4.0 roms

Thanks, trying to stay away from rooting this time but I'll probably give in eventually.
