Will Lenovo restock the Moto X Pure and start selling them again?

When you select "Build Yours", the site allows you to build but at the bottom it says "Out of Stock" and does not allow you to order.

Best Buy has the Pure Edition on sale, Both 32GB ($100 off) and 64 GB ($50 off).

I ordered mine on the

When i ordered my MXPE on the 16th of October they claimed a 3.5 week lead time before it would delivered. As of today (11/1) its progress hasnt moved beyond "building device". According to the moto forums there seems to be some issues with customs on the China end and a shortage of parts to complete phones. I also read where delivery dates were being blown because of these issues and people were demanding refunds.

Yes, when I ordered my latest Moto XPE from Motorola it took forever to leave China. I ordered my first Moto XPE from Best Buy and picked it up at the store that day.:)

That's nothing new. I ordered mine last September on its official release date. I waited over a month for it to be built and shipped.

As long as you're ok with the battery. Other than form factor and stereo speakers the Z Force is superior, which it should be being a new device.

My friend broke is GS5 and wanted a phone that he could get immediately around $300 so he went to Best Buy and got the Moto X Pure Edition. At $720, the Moto Z Force wasn't a part of the conversation at all.

Other phones he considered: Moto G Plus (16GB) $249, Moto G Plus (32GB) $299, Honor 8 $349, Axon 7 $399.

Moto X Pure Edition: $269.

Big screen and great speakers were on his list.

There have been a few discussions on the official Moto forums the last few weeks about orders, almost everyone has been waiting weeks only to get there orders canceled for Moto X Pure Editions, no one has noted receiving a new one in a long time.

If you can get one at Best Buy or other retailer, go for it since it is a great device, but the chances of being able to order one from Moto now or later on is very remote.
