Will Note 3 ever get TouchWiz update?

I have the note 3 and my friend just picked up the note 4. I noticed that the TouchWiz UI was different on his. Will the note 3 ever get it and if not, should I root my phone for it.

Chances are things wont change MUCH. Little things like a few menus will get updated, and some settings from the S4 will be added. Not may though considering they dont seem to change everything about it like other manufacturers so customers HAVE to buy the newest thing.

well most likely Note3 users will skip 4.3 and 4.4 altogether and will jump on lollipop. Obviously when Samsung thinks we are worthy enough. Would not expect anything exciting this year tbh

I'm sure we gonna get 4.4.4 KitKat still. The sprint note 4 is running it. And I just read T-Mobile is pushing 4.4.4 to the s4. We will get 5.0 sometime next year. 4.4.4 is be mostly bug fixes till we get 5.0

Whatever the case Im not excited at all about kit Kat. I am however looking forward to lollipop. BTW I read somewhere that n9005 factory unlocked will skip all kit Kat updates and jump on lollipop. Cant speak for US carriers as l dont even live in the US

Actually San mobile posted a video yesterday showing the s4 with new touchwiz so I'm guessing the note 3 will get it too

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too, if the S4 is getting it why wouldn't the Note 3, plus the Note 3 is half a year newer than the S4
