Will Pay $$ for assistance with unlocking Bootloader/Custom ROM

Not sure what I am doing wrong.
I will even pay$$$ (paypal) to fix this and get a Nice Custom ROM loaded on to my Rezound.
I am following HTC's Bootloader Unlock instructions here >
HTCdev - Unlock Bootloader
Phone is not responding when I plug in via USB after highlighting fastboot per the instructions.
My connection type for USB is DiskDrive and not set on ChargeOnly.
I am running a MacBookPro.
Thoughts/Suggestions?

Try disabling or uninstalling completely HTC sync after getting all HTC drivers installed. I was having trouble and that fixed it.

Do you have usb debugging set in applications development.
Also after you select fastboot you need to press power again to make fastboot run,

sounds like you don't have the updated HTC drivers installed.

mr smith can i get help as well please? i have gtalk skype and anything else i would really really appreciate it ive been lurking and see taht you are an awesome guy stuck with the rezound allt he way i bought it day 1 and payed the entire price but it was worth it im so glad i didn't get the gnex.
