Will the Note 7 ever see Nougat?

With all that's going on with the phone, do you think any of the carriers will invest the time to get Nougat pushed to the phone?

That made my night. I ordered an HTC 10 late last night after seeing the stories. The writing is on the wall - the Note 7 is done.
