Will the unlocked version of the phone work with USA carrier LTE? (AT&T specifically)

I am planning on buying the unlocked version of the Xperia Z3, and I was wondering USA carrier LTE (AT&T specifically) would work with the phone or not?

I can't answer your question because I'm not an AT&T radio expert, but, here is a link to Sony's website and the Z3 White Paper. The White Paper lists all the models of the Z3 and the frequencies supported. If you know AT&T's LTE frequencies you should be able to find your answer. FYI, the D6616 is the TMo flavored version.

The version you can buy in the UK def works on att and T-Mobile. I don't know about the Asian version. The number for the one that is working is d6603

The Z2 worked just fine on ATT LTE. You may get a 4G icon but it is LTE speeds.

If you want a LTE icon if it saids 4G, flash your phone with a different FTF which does have the LTE icon and you are good to go.

I am on Verizon in the USA but one of my contracts is expiring soon, so I was thinking of jumping to AT&T and getting this Sony (since I am assuming there will be no Verizon version?). I travel all over the US and the world so I cannot be stuck with T Mobile's weaker US network.

Can somebody confirm which version of the Z3 will work with AT&T in the USA, on all bands that any other AT&T phone would? In other words, I don't want to get this phone if it won't COMPLETELY work on all 3g and 4g/LTE bands in the US. I see there are several Model Numbers and there is some confusion on which models work on which carriers.

I would greatly appreciate any info you guys have to clear this up. Thanks!

The D6603 and D6633 will support all AT&T bands and worldwide.

The only difference with D6603 and D6633 is that D6633 is a Dual SIM model and does not have LTE band 13.
