Samsung released the note 10.1 2014 edition the day after kitkat was announced (I think that was at the end of November). So if they have a note 2015 edition it will probably be released after Android L and the new Nexus phone. Personally I don't know what they could upgrade besides the speakers (front end instead of the sides) CPU, GPU, and maybe the few small S pen updates in the note 4. If they were to make it 4K they would have to include an extreme battery upgrade considering that the current 2K display is already very taxing when on a high percentage of brightness. In other words it might not be worth the wait, the note 10.1 2014 edition is extremely fast, easy to root, has a beautiful display, the S pen is more than enough for taking notes (I also use it for school), browsing the Web on a strong connection will make you forget what lag is. If I want to see individual pixels I have to take out a microscope (not joking). The camera is exceptional for a tablet. The only bad thing is that the charging port is on the bottom so if I want to use it while charging I have to turn on screen rotation and flip the tablet upside-down (which is not that bad). I have never experienced issues with the RAM because it has 3 gigabytes. It can handle 7 apps on the same screen. I have the Exynos Wifi 32 gigabyte black version by the way.
