Will updates be just as quick on Verizon?

Now I know you must work for Verizon. Replacements are a horrible ordeal. They use assurian, which is the biggest con! Like, for instance, if your phone dies and you put your sim in an old device until you can get it replaced...they will see a different phone on your account and deny your claim.

man, relax. I too have had my fair share of trouble with Verizon, but in all honestly Verizon's customer service is still better than pretty much any other carrier in the US. That's saying something, isnt it?

My big issues with verizon were between 2009 and 2012. Since then I have had 0 issues with Verizon reps, customer service, or replacement claims. All carriers have a bit of evil to them but Customer service is definitely one of Verizon's stronger suites now.

The updates bypass carries in nougat. We had a Google rep come in today to answer questions and he said it's all one device, no bloat and Verizon versions will get all updates without Verizon approval.

Whoa.

HAHAHA. that's hilarious. I was with vzw for years. Ever gone into a store? They treat you like dog****. They act like they are too busy doing nothing to help you. I hope you were joking.

Was just in a store yesterday and did not get that feeling at all.

You can consider your self lucky if Verizon gives you an update in the ~6month range after Google. Verizon has their own agenda, and your desire for a software upgrade is not it! Google is the ONLY way to buy this phone. Verizon bloatware is so cumbersome. When I bought my razor droid max I paid out right, used it two weeks and put it in the closet until tossing it recently. I moved to Republic wireless to escape all vz the bs. Now I here at Google, its the best experience ever for me!!!
