will verizon update revert rooted phone back to non-rooted?

if i allow the verizon updates after rooting my phone will the phone revert back to non-rooted?

i used Wondershare MobileGo to root the device.

I don't think so, Virgin Mobile updates and even android updates have not unrooted any of my rooted devices. But if you don't try, how can we find out? Best luck to you my friend.
