Will you buy the s9 or stick with the Note 8?

Knowing nothing of the S9 other than it doesn't have an spen, I'm gonna have to go with no. No changes till the note 9. Only S series I've had was the S2. S7E was not by choice. S8 was insurance claim to S7E. My choice has been the note since 3.

I have to laugh here. S8 plus users got chewed out when they said the note 8 is a s8 plus with a s pen. And your saying the s9 will be a note 8 without a s pen. Too funny.

Personally I will stick with the Note 8. The S9 likely will be the Note 8 minus the spen with maybe a newer processor. Otherwise it will have the Note 8 features likely like dual camera and maybe 6gb of ram. I'm hearing the s9 might only have 4gb ram though and might be out in Feb.

It won't really be an upgrade over the Note 8.

I am on T-Mobile..... I will only consider a Note 9 (and Not the 9S 9S+ series) and only if it can do T-Mobile's newly acquired 600mhz coverage band.... If not, I'm sticking with the Note 8 until a newer Note comes out that can.. As for sticking with Note vs S series I prefer the larger screen, dual cameras, and more ram.

I got all the S phone starting from the 1st one. The 9 will be the one I skip. A big part of this decision comes from the Note 8's price tag. Got to save for the next Note.

Hard to tell. Nothing is out really about it. We will have to wait for more reliable leaks. Can't say it's hardly a upgrade based on unreliable leaks. Just enjoy your note and let's wait for more info. It will be time for us all to spend more money and go through this pre order craziness again soon enough. Lol

Choosing between the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note used to be an easy choice as they were so different. Now they're gradually merging into the same phone with with the S-Pen as the differentiator. Sure the Note 8 has dual cameras too but so will the S9 so they'll be even closer next year.

You can reply to your own question again once pre-orders start for the S9+. You seem to change your mind often.
I don't know how some people can make that decision now. My "plan" is to stay on the Note upgrade path. There was no comparison to other phones IMO.
The only reason we deviated was because of the recall.

I tend to keep my phones for 2 years...so probably the N10.

I'm not a fan of either but if I were, I would probably stick to one format most likely. To stylus or not to stylus is how I see it.

I'll try and hold out for the note 9. I've been in this situation before, upgrading from the note to the latest S series for the new features and then missing the S-pen and larger display.

the one thing that I have noticed is all the people who keep talking crap about how much the note is or its just galaxy s8 with out the s pen are people who can't afford the note 8, my friend did the same kept going on and talking trash then his mother got him the note 8 and kind of sad since the guy is 29 years old., he couldn't stop saying how much he loves it, if you can't afford stop running your mouth off Dam haters
