Would you switch from your G6 to the S8 active if it was made available to all carriers? Same screen ratio. Flat screen. Bigger battery. More ram. Higher price.

Noup, lol if i wanted samsung i would bought it in the 1st place...

Re: LG G6 for GS8 Active

No, it looks ugly and bulky in my opinion. Although I would have considered an S8 if the normal version featured a flat screen.

Re: LG G6 for GS8 Active

If it was free maybe i'd think about it higher priced though is a no go.

Re: LG G6 for GS8 Active

The wide angle camera is my main retainer. Slap a case and a screen protector on a G6, and you've got a S8 active.

Re: LG G6 for GS8 Active

Nope. I'm only interested in dual camera phones for the foreseeable future.

The screen on the S8 Active is nice though, and I'm sure the build quality will be fantastic.

BTW....what's the status on LG Pay?

Won't get many takers here

It's nice to see too. LG brought a very nice phone to the table with the G6 and people are enjoying it.

I'm hoping for a similar experience with the V30 that I'll most likely get

Nothing with Samsung's name on it for me, thanks. Besides, I have very few complaints with the G6 and none of them are hardware related.

Well in part its because we are in an LG thread.

Definitely a bit tempting but it won't be launched in my country. Plus it would be tough to jump to a phone that doesn't have a wide angle lens

Heck yeah! Indestructible military grade, a non fingerprint magnet, 64GB storage, Samsung's awesome dual pixel camera, flat AMOLED screen, SD 835. It's not really fair to compare the two, the G6 costs nearly half the price and has lower specs.

I was thinking the same about the wide angle but there's an accessory that magnetically clips on to the back and you can change different lenses. You get one powerful camera over two pretty decent cameras. Plus the front facing camera is awesome.

Yeah a tiny accessory you might loose anytime not very practical imho unless you work in photography
Also that military grade is mostly a marketing trick lolz fancy words for selling plastic phones which duhh are harder than glass :P

Any add-on lens will diminish your lenses light gathering ability.
