I'm interested in one of these because I work in higher education as an emerging technology specialist. I try to stay on top of new technology and would like to see how far the new chip can be pushed in education. And when I'm done with that, I'm going to play with it like everyone else here would. I'd probably use it primarily in class in some way.

Not feeling the need in phones--is APQ8064T really outdated already???--but looking forward to (almost) achieving GPU parity with Apple in tablets. Not to mention tablet-sized thermal budgets will allow for those 2.3GHz cores to stretch their figurative legs a bit.

Why I'm looking forward to seeing Snapdragon 800 in phones and tablets this year.

1. Since mobile platform is taking over a great deal of computing areas more and more, we realize that more powerful CPU is needed for phones and tablets that we tend to use more often than ever!
2. It is also one of the current tech trends that we want a new stuff that is more powerful and efficient each season.
3. Because I would love to play with a more powerful gadget than what I have right now.
4. It can be a nice bridge between Snapdragon 600 and Snapdragon 1000 (could be a different name, though).
