Android has been a part of my tech interests since I first laid eyes on an old Archos mp3 player back in the early days (of avoiding getting Apple ipod) and I wanted a G1 but I was still happy with my Razr (LOL!). Later when the "droids" were coming out (as I was on Verizon) I was wanting to get one still, but as I was under my parents plan I couldn't get an upgrade without permission, nor could I afford a data plan on my own (I was a kid). I got my first android device when I found a war-ravaged G1 in my apartment dumpster throwing out the trash into an otherwise empty dumpster on my way to work. It didn't have much functionality as the wifi, bluetooth, and sdcard were all damaged, but I still enjoyed sideloading apps and playing around with it, as I was still on Verizon and the G1 was Tmobile I didn't get it on cellular. Later my friend gave me his old DroidX, which was the one I wanted and suggested as a good phone to him earlier the previous year. I've been enjoying keeping up with the Droidians ever since! Thank you android central for being awesome.
