Sadly, I must inform everyone here that I have already won this contest...
On April 28th, 2010, at 12:31 p.m. CST America, this post was chosen to be the winner and soon placed on the front page of Android Central; that's when everything changed...
On May 5, I received my Droid Incredible made by HTC. I turned the power on. I activated it. Then I did something Incredible.
I used the built in calculator function to divide by zero.
I was instantly enveloped in what I have determined to be an energy vortex of some kind, red whispery flames surrounded me, but I felt no heat; instead, I felt a sort of pulling sensation; I was pulled backwards, through a pandemoniac, swirling cacophony of sounds and sensations, the likes of which I had never seen...darkness washed over me and I knew no more for some time...
When I awoke, I was there again, at my workdesk, surrounded by the typical walls of my cubicle, though something strange had happened...
The date was Monday, April 19, 2010. I refused to believe it at first, but it was true, as my company calendar reassured me. I had (or is it have?) been cast backwards in time.
I am terrified of what this means...if things don't go differently this time; if somehow I didn't win the contest again, what does that mean for me? Will I cease to exist? What about the rest of the world? Each of my actions is not meaningless, like ripples in a pond, each wave bouncing off another; how will changing things affect our surroundings?
Even more terrifying, when I reach May 5 again, I must divide by zero again; if I don't, then I wouldn't exist to come back and win this contest to divide by zero again; in fact, I'm not sure how many times I must repeat this before I can find an exit; this is the 15th time I have typed this post; but god, my god, how many more times before I can discover a way out which doesn't involve compromise of space-time itself and destroy the world as we know it?
I beg those of you reading this, I must win again, the Droid Incredible IS
Incredible; it is, in fact, too much power for one person to handle alone; I have already shouldered this burden for too long now, but shoulder it I must, because I always have, and I always will...
We must not disrupt the flow of time...I will find an exit...other worlds and times exist, and with the power of the Droid Incredible, I will find them...
