It would be an incredible relief for poor verizon, motorola and myself if I could get my droid replaced with an incredible!

If I got an incredible, I could stop calling verizon to replace my motorola droid for the 5th time. good grief!

I'm addicted to the google os, and I want a phone that let's me take full advantage of what android has to offer without getting stopped up by a company who only just jumped into the google ring.

HTC's been making android phones longer than anybody and has the best ui!

Mission Incredible

I am glancing through my Droid reading Android Central like any other day and a message appears on my phone and I wonder to myself who could this be? I realize its the HTC Executive Director.

He has a mission for me but not just any mission: Mission Incredible.

He states the obvious threat Apple or Aka: Steve Jobs. There must be recon done on this man and a threat needs to be eliminated. He states I will be working with my usual team from Android Central all skilled and equipped to do the job but this time I will be using a protype of theirs: The HTC Incredible.

He says if you choose to accept this mission your phone will self destruct in 5 secs. As I hit the accept key I watched the smoke rise from my Droid, I thought to myself it was a good run buddy but now I am off to something Incredible.

Flash forward I am in pursuit of my target. I put the HTC Incredible to use as I catch up to him I jump through the air towards him. Steve Jobs sees me and realizes what I have in my possession. He quickly reaches for his Iphone 4G but before he can grab it I shoot a laser from my LED (modification thanks to Android Central) which singes his hand forcing the phone from his grip. (Sorry Steve no open source no laser for you)

Realizing he has been out done he tries to evade me. I quickly take a picture of his incredible reaction with my 8 megapixel camera but that's not all as I drop to the floor he realizes I am watching the Incredibles at the same time! He has a heart attack. As he falls to the floor I quickly snatch his Iphone 4G and dismantle it in two seamless motions.

I look down at my HTC Incredible and realize all the potential of this device, my memories of my Droid quickly fade as I return to HQ for my debriefing.

Mission Incredible: ACCOMPLISHED!

The Droid Incredible will replace all my other gadgets, including iPod, iPhone, iPad and all the others starting with "i".

It would kick butt any others who claim that they were first in the multitask, multitouch technology.

Susan Boyle

I will watch countless Susan Boyle Youtube videos.
I will set my wallpaper with Susan Boyle's face.
I will purchase Susan Boyle music and listen to it on my player.
I will take photos of my friends in Susan Boyle costumes and upload them to my Facebook and Twitter feeds.
I will check all my feeds using friendstream to find the newest Susan Boyle info.
I will check the weather and time in Scotland where Susan Boyle was born.
I will customize my covering with Susan Boyle art.
I will change my ringtone to my favorite Susan Boyle song.
I will download every Susan Boyle app on the market.
I will make love in the club. and...
I will Dream a Dream.

Con mucho amor,
Jimmy

I will use the Incredible to watch all the flash videos that iCan't on my iPad. I need a capital "I" in my life.

I'm going to sit at my local starbucks and make people with Apple products cry. And let's face it...that's incredibly cool.

The best part of winning? I would no longer have to pretend that "I love my Samsung Omnia which is so wonderful because it allows me to root and hack as much as I want, and really, WinMo 6.5.3 is really awesome, it has a kinetic scrolling and everything, plus the fact that I dropped it and knocked the screen out of alignment so that I have to hit about 1/8 of an inch below where I actually want to click, well that isn't a problem once you get used to it even if I normally can't check my voicemail because I blow through my password attempts that are allowed before getting locked out because I can't ever hit the '7' key, and that the phone freezes up for 4-5 minutes after connecting to a bluetooth headset, that just adds character, this phone would have been just fine for the next 4 months waiting for my upgrade time to come up, but since I won this phone and got it for free I might as well switch." The lies are building now, I've developed a small twitch whenever I talk about my phone and I'm afraid that fake "it looks like it belongs on an 'Extenz' commercial" smile it about to get stuck on my face.

I will video record me cleaning my blackberry storm with a 9mm. I will show the before where there is so much dust under the screen its barely visible, the process of cleaning it, then show the hole where I extracted all the dust. Then using all the functions on Incredible upload it to youtube and facebook right from the phone.

3 billion human lives ended on April 29th, 2017. The survivors of the nuclear fire called the war Judgment Day. They lived only to face a new nightmare: the war against the smartphones. The computer which controlled the smartphones, AndroidCentral, sent two Droid Incredibles back through time. Their mission: to destroy the leader of the human resistance, John Connor, my son. The first Droid Incredible was programmed to strike at me in the year 2010, before John was born. It failed. The second was set to strike at John himself when he was still a child. As before, the resistance was able to send a lone Droid Incredible warrior, a protector for John. It was just a question of which one of them would reach him first.

So I guess I would use my Incredible to fight off the evil Incredibles from the future to save the human race...?
I think I just blacked out.

Just Incredible...

Absurd. Far-Fetched.
Impossible. Improbable.
Outlandish. Unimaginable.
Ridiculous. Amazing.
Extraordinary. Glorious.

What do all of these words have in common, you ask? - several things.
For one thing, my fellow Earthlings, each one of these words describes the tasks I perform on a daily basis to keep you safe from the evil which plagues our great planet. This evil which I speak of ranges from things like common robbers, missing cats, and *NSYNC to intergalactic threats, global warming, and runaway hybrids. "That is INCREDIBLE!" you say? Well I agree. However, there is one form of evil which I still have no answer for...hiding deep in its Cupertino lair, it's...it's....Dr. iEvil!!!!

With your help, AC, and the addition of the new Droid Incredible to my arsenal, WE can rid the world of its snobbiest disease yet!

God Bless & Stay INCREDIBLE!

When I get the Incredible I'll watch the forums 24/7 to see how to root it and then download Barnacle so I can wirelessly tether my wife's Ipad to it so I can keep my kids happy watching netflix while we travel around the country in our Family Truckster, during which time an old and saggy Kristy Brinkly will to seduce me with her 30 year old Ferrari and promise of becoming the next Chuck Norris using the Total Gym. The only thing Chuck Norris is afraid of is the Droid Chuck Norris which was the original name for the Droid Incredible until Chuck Norris sued HTC for copyright infringement.

As a wheelchair user my whole life, I've worked hard to overcome INCREDIBLE odds just to be where I am today. I know that to really help make life INCREDIBLE, i need a Droid INCREDIBLE!! I have been unemployed over a year, but like all other challenges that come my way, I am not about to let that stop me from enjoying life. With it's amazing Sense UI, a Droid INCREDIBLE would be an amazing boost to help me live that INCREDIBLE life!

I'm a new WM convert. I've been using my HTC Magic for a month now, ant there is no way in hell I'm getting anything other than Android. With the Inredible I'm going to spread the love for Android here in Poland as much as I can, because It's the best mobile system ever. I'd like very much to give Eclair a spin (with a new Sense UI), and browse through the Market every day on the fabulous AMOLED display.
Also, I'm going to write an amazing app, which will blow your minds off (at least those of you petrolheads). I can't go into specifics, but I'll give you a hint : GT-R :)

With a new Droid Incredible, I'll use the "Maps" and "Google Earth" apps to find the best way to hike Mt. Everest. With the improved multi-touch on the device over the Droid and Nexus One, zooming in on my position should be a nothing easier than a pinch (to zoom)! When I finally reach the top, I'll say to myself, "what an Incredible journey that was"... And then I'll hike all the way back down, in proper Android fashion, while multi-tasking the "Last.fm" and "Where" apps.

Hey, I tried. :) Best of luck to everyone else. Thanks Android Central!

This is simple for me to answer: I have been a blackberry user (religiously) over the past 6 years, and I even stood in line to get the Blackberry Storm 1 when it was released. The features that are pushing me from a loyal Blackberry user to an Incredible user is the fact that the operating system is actually user friendly. Since I use my Blackberry for work and play, I am consistently having to conduct battery pulls and delete apps to free up memory! The fact that I can actually use my smartphone without having to worry about the operating system failing is the best feature to me. I know it sounds like a "given feature", but remember that I am coming over from a 1st generation Storm.

Wow

Wow! Incredible! I can't wait to get my hands on one. The review of the product blows Moto Droid out of the water. I hope I win.

If I had an Incredible, I could finally get rid of my Incredibly disappointing Blackberry Storm1 and finally have the Incredible phone I was hoping to have when I bought this piece of c^@p.

I will FINALLY switch from my blackberry to an Android phone..after working at RIM for 8 months, I can't express how much I want to move to an open source OS..and this is the phone that has paved the way. Sure, you can love what you do with blackberry, but I didn't love it, and I want something incredible.

I'll actually be able to manage my school work items and manage them efficiently, as well as text at a decent speed, because my Eris can't handle it at all.

My Incredible Journey started long before I wrote this and will continue on long after it has been written. The Incredible itself is not journey itself but the means by which I will accomplish it.

Layars, which was a recent find, seems to be a great way to find things. Granted there is always google maps to help you find things around you, supposing you know where you are or where you are going. But for those of us that do not know, its an incredible tool for finding things. I plan on traveling around looking for an upgrade in employment, and Layars will be an incredible resource to guide me on that path. It will also help me when I get lost showing my wife around Washington, DC for her first time.

Now it hasnt been confirmed, but I'm sure we'll see Skype Mobile working on the Incredible, which means that while I'm showing her around DC, she can also be in touch with her relatives in China at a reduced rate.

It will also be nice to have access to internet on my pc via tethering when we end up in a bogus hotel that has not internet. Of course, I wouldn't allow that because I have the Incredible. I can use it to find hotel reviews and either Layar or Google Map my way to a more Incredible hotel, which of course will have complimentary internet.

I also plan to use the device to keep in touch with people better than I have with my current phone. I don't have texting and I've realized that ALL of my friends/associates use it more than talking so I'm at a serious loss because of this. Having Google Voice will only make the effect even more Incredible.

Have I said Incredible enough yet?
