I would take advantage of the app market. I currently don't own a smartphone - just a good ol texter. One app in particular I look forward to is gstrings so I can always have a guitar tuner with me (i less little brick to carry around). So the efficiency and less-is-more is what I am craving out of the incredible.

my incredible feat

I have the Motorola Droid and my wife has the HTC Eris, my incredible feat would be not to drop my wife's Droid in the toilet again trying to be noisy and not tell her.it still works but smells a little.

Droid owner here, would love to convert my Step-dad from his BBStorm (gross, I know) and upgrade myself to the Incredible. Basically just want it for the HTC Sense, not to mention the other awesome specs that outshine the Droid. My mom has an Eris, so if we could get this phone then we could be an (Verizon) Android poster family. My dream come true!!

oh... since everyone else is using the word, I probably should too... Android Central is INCREDIBLE!

I'll use it as a weapon to beat people who say "That's a stupid name for a phone" as they talk on their iphone. Seriously? Is that supposed to be short for internet phone because as far as I can tell, all iphone users do is complain about how bad the network is for internet usage. Have fun looking at EDGE while I'm twittering about how great the Verizon network is, listening to music on Pandora, while getting free turn by turn directions from Google Navigation (note: I'm not the driver as doing all that would be very dangerous).

I am using the "incredibly" slow HTC eris, i have pushed this device to the max, with rooted roms and overclocking. It still is not up to par with the performance and functionality that i, like the air i breath, need so badly. with the incredible, i could finally rest assure that i can speed through all the most needed processes, and applications that make up my ever excited android lifestyle..I could then sit next to my step brother with his Iphone in hand, and turn it into dust, like the old suv crossover commercials.. And that would be a victorious day for us little robots of the android gods... the """IPHONE KILLER"" will be on my tombstone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!I WILL BLEED ANDROID GREEN UNTIL THE DAY I DIE!!!!!!

Incredible things

Given the new Droid Incredible I will:
Spend a minimum of (1) hour per day working on making cryptsetup and LUKS working on the android OS. End result: completely encrypted phone (and SD card), requiring a passphrase on boot.

I do have coding experience and use LUKS on my day to day computer.

With the Droid Incredible I will be able to forget about the incredible decision by Verizon/Google to not release the Nexus One.

With the Droid Incredible I'll be able to stay entertained on my commute to, and from, work while using public transportation. I'll be able to discreetly kill time at work while surfing the internet. When I get home I'll be able to talk to my girlfriend without having to worry about minutes because she's on Verizon as well.

And probably the most incredible feat will be able to use my phone in my house because I'll be off of AT&T.

I want it

I always like big 3.7 inch touch screen phones. It would be very nice to play my current games (Papaya Farm, WordUp!, Blow Up, Pocket Empires, etc...) on the big AMOLED touch screen instead of 3.2 inch. I surf online and text a lot, so I want Droid Incredible. I am sick of 3.2 inch screen and 1.5 version because keyboard is so small and sluggish to type.

The phone will probably turn me into a complete Android fan since I haven't even seen a phone in person that runs android yet. It will also hopefully turn me into a king and bring me all sorts of babes and riches. I'm basing this on the fact that I now have a Blackberry that doesn't work properly and it's made me, as a person, feel sort of clunky and out of date... Plus now I have to give myself a hard reboot multiple times a day which is real awkward.
