With the pre it sucked because of the small size of the screen, on the hero you cant do it because of the slow suckiness, but with the new "Sense" , and multi home-screen view, combined with the sheer awesomeness of the screen and processor, i'll be able to have all my nuclear Missile Launch applications open at the same time, and be able to switch to them whenever i need to! I currently own a Palm Pre and have pre-ordered the HTC Evo, so I will be making the switch from webOS to Android. The one thing I?m really intrigued about is the speed of the phone. It sounds like the combination of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor and Sprint?s 4G network will create a truly engaging experience. Its funny how expectations have grown for these small devices as their functionality has expanded, just a couple of seconds of lag when switching between applications or receiving data can really impact the overall experience. Based on some of doc31?s recent feedback, it seems that the speed of the HTC EVO is fast!

I'm most excited for the overall look and speed of the device. The 4.3" screen plus the Snapdragon processor = Heaven.

I'm actually moving back to somewhere with 4g coverage sometime soon, so I'm definitely excited about WiMax.

Other than that... absolutely the screen. I have a Moment currently, and the screen size is fine, but the resolution... not so much. I want to be able to view webpages in landscape mode without having to pan back and forth constantly. I want to be able to watch HD video. Evo does all that.

I have a serious condition, I'm a cell phone addict. Over the past 4 years I have gone through about a dozen cell phone models. In the past 12 months alone, I've owned a moto q9c, HTC Touch Pro, Palm Pre, BB Curve 8330, BB Tour 9630, and HTC Hero. Being a Sprint loyalist, I've pretty much exhausted my options in terms of smart phones. Getting an Evo would go SO FAR in suppressing my electronic urges... plus, my gf says if I buy another cell phone w/out getting her a ring i'm toast. Please help save my relationship and sanity.

The ability to record in 720p with hdmi output is great! I love that if I don't have my camcorder I can still get good quality videos and watch them on my tv thru hdmi.

if i have to pick one, i would say the 4g wireless hotspot for 8 devices! no longer will i have to pay $101 a month for an iphone and another $70 a month for sprint 4g card!

I'm more stoked over the pure speed and functionality of this phone for it to be touchscreen. I have been anti-touch screen since I jumped ship from the treo to the blackberry boat but now BB is getting old and I need some new blood and the HTC Evo will provide that. Oh and Sprint getting the simultaneous voice and data function before Verizon really kicks butt!!...LoL
