I want the NEXUS 5X, because I love modding my phone and making the most of the customization possibilities. I've never owned a NEXUS device before; my current one is a somewhat outdated Galaxy S4 (2+ years), and my current provider recently changed its phone upgrade policy. Fortunately, though, a few ROM developers continue supporting the S4. I'm also an app hoarder and my S4 is always slowing down, despite my best efforts to tweak its performance. My brother always complains when I open Waze and everything freezes, usually requiring a reboot. A NEXUS 5X would be a huge upgrade, and I'd use it for several years.

Why should I get a Nexus 5x... Well, I'm stuck with an iPhone 5s for another year (thank you Telus) but God do I hate that phone. The screen is too small, it's becoming laggy and I am tired of the closed nature of iOS. Also I have been itching to get an Android phone for quite some times now, but I am a proud father of 1 little girl and another baby is on its way so spending 700-800$ (Thanks Canadian economy) on a new phone is hard to justify to the girlfriend (with reason). I think the 5X could be a nice little phone to get in the Android bandwagon and it's my birthday in 2 and half week!
