One simple reason: it's incredible :P Nah really i want to change over the standard cellphone world. I'm totally about techno but my budget doesn't help me at all so i can't change device.

Tried the Nexus One and totally loved it but eh. So yeah that would help me change.

And i'm so digging the incredible look! it's totally amazing.

My sorry old phone is a Nokia 2610 retail value: $19.99
As I mentioned in another thread, I've being holding out on buying a new phone since the day I heard about the Android OS and was waiting for the best phone. Once I was out of contract with AT&T and my phone broke, I had to pick up this PayAsYouGo phone so I didn't sign back into AT&T for two years to miss my dream phone. Well here it is, my dream phone, and I'm willing to switch to Verizon to get it. After all the reviews, this is the one I've been waiting for. Hopefully I can get it from you guys!!!

I have the storm and was very excited when i first had it but besides email.....just down right boring the memory space had to be treated with care and the reseting all the time is quite time dragging! even the desktop manager is slow and interferes with basic computer task until its done loading Android is has the love it and do it all OS and it is rapidly growing! i need something to let me multitask and not tell me i need to exit my calls to complete something. to some it all up i really cant wait till december 23 to upgrade its killing my love for phones with this device!

i have the newest verizon phone on the block: the lg dare, but that was 2 years ago. Time to get a major upgrade.

Just using a regular ole droid overclocked and themed barely could receive phone calls cuz of that sense ui port i was running ... now only if i didnt have to port things over and they would just work

i have a run of the mill motorola w766 clamshell that i would love to have replaced for free with little to effort on my part. thanks android central.

I'm a college student from India and currently own a Nokia 5800. I have been a Nokia Fan boy for my past 13 iteration of phones, but I think I can safely say Android and its offerings have finally got to me.

I have been following all updates since December and cannot believe the pace at which this community is growing. It really is quite remarkable. I just love where Android is headed with mobile computing and would proud to do my part in providing a helping hand. Developing for the Android community promises to be an intriguing and exciting adventure

I also intend to host a website that reviews Android phones. There is an untapped market with respect to Android here, with companies like Motorola and HTC bringing their products to India carrying a lot of hesitation. And rightly so. Indian costumers frankly don't risk choosing beyond Nokia or Motorola. It is the lack of information in the masses that makes this a dangerous market to enter. Android and it's capabilities has barely been understood by the most, let alone been heard off. I intend on providing information to people, information catered to the Indian market, about this community, its openness and its potential.

I was actually hoping that my first entry would detail my experience with the Google Nexus One, but the phone is yet to make its way into the market here and I am yet to meet a friend who has gotten their hands on the super phone.

The HTC Incredible will be the ideal choice for my site. Since it is to be launched soon it will make my review a good read and an interesting topic of discussion. Winning this phone would also be inspiration to develop for the Android. And also equally importantly it will also make a deserving replacement to my current phone, Nokia 5800.

I really hope I win this giveaway, it would mean a lot. In either case looking forward to owning an Android soon !

Looking forward to contributing towards this wonderful community.

Peace. \m/

Dheepak.

I'm still using a pathetic LG VX8300. I have been holding off forever to get an awesome phone on Verizon and now one has arrived. I've had this phone forever. Can't wait to get the Incredible!

My phone is the Samsung SCH-a740 (otherwise known as the Alias). In addition to its 50 sms limit, its piss-poor music player (which requires a dongle), a poor camera, an alarm that never seems to work, text notifications that interrupt whatever I do on the phone, and the lack of a meaningful Bluetooth or contact management solution, it also chooses when to deliver text messages and how often calls should be allowed to take before it drops them.

It is a trooper though; my dog took a couple of bites out of the top (teeth marks but no breakage) and the only thing thats managed to suffer is just the closing mechanism. The text sending I blame on...no its the dog.

But this phone has to last, because I really can't afford to buy another if it poops out on me now.

I'm using a palm pre plus and while it is a great operating system, very quick I might add, the phone gets very hot when talking and the battery drains very quickly. I don't even have to be using the phone much and I can't get through three quarters of the day. Had the phone checked out and they say it's operating fine. Please save me with the incredible!!!

I actually love my current phone - a hero !

It is great for going on the web, checking emails and browsing the forums here for more android goodness - it does have one flaw which I find difficult to manage!

When I take pictures of my one year old son they always turn out blurry as he is such a wriggly wee guy! Also the lack of a flash means that I miss being able to share some of those special moments that only a half decent camera can capture !

That is why I would love an incredible!

This is the phone for my wifeto get here away from that ancient dinosaur, the BB 8330. I know right. Trying to convert her but she doesn't want to spend the money.

Really? People are complaining about a Blackberry Tour? A Blackberry Storm? Let me go even more old school - a Blackberry Curve 8330. It's a piece of junk that has been replaced by Verizon TWICE because of the faulty keyboard. And I still have 2 months before I can upgrade! So upgrade me already!

I have a HTC DROID ERIS and was promised 2.1 and had I known it wasn't gonna happen I would have never bought it. Please help me get the 2.1 I deserve.
