Storm 1 and what a piece of crap. I bought it when it was released and have been frustrated and disappointed since. Just yesterday I picked my phone up to unlock the screen and waited 2 minutes (no exaggeration) for the spinning icon to stop before I could do anything. I have it reset every night and somehow it still freezes. The browser sucks and I guess BB just doesn't believe in updates. I can't wait to slam this phone into a million pieces.
My current phone is the Samsung SCH-u410

I am a tech director at a church and a father of two young girls. This is pathetic.
As a tech director I oversee all the audio, video, lighting, and computers of the church. For me to have a flip phone and not a smart phone of any kind is actually laughable. For our family and who we call, it makes sense to be on Verizon (which is why I haven't bought an iPhone). I had been waiting for the Nexus One to come to Verizon, but now it looks like the Incredible is the phone for me.
As a tech director, I will become so much more productive with the Incredible than my current phone. I communicate with many volunteers via SMS, Facebook, e-mail, and Twitter. With my current phone that is hard and impossible (Facebook).
Communicating with my wife via text is a painful process. Taking pictures of my family and sending them to other family and friends is an absolute nightmare with this phone.
In short, my digital life is a pain with this phone. The Incredible will allow me to eliminate this pain.

I am currently a pissed off Blackberry Tour owner. I got this phone less than a year ago and I have replaced it twice because the OS simply vanished leaving me with a bricked phone. Now I am at the highest official OS that Verizon pushes out and I am having even more issues such as major memory leaks when no apps or a few are running as well as the immaculate reboot in the middle of me conducting business.
I want nothing to do with this phone anymore, especially after I saw that Blackberry is releasing a new OS in the coming months that looks great and would have held me over for a while. Except that my phone is not supported. Really?! I bought this phone the week it came out and this was less than a year ago and already they won't support it.
So now in less than a year my tech is ancient and it has trouble working the way it should. I have a lot of friends who use android phones and they have no complaints. I wanted to buy the Incredible, but I am not eligible to buy it at the promotional rate, and I cannot spare $600 for a new phone.
You guys would be doing me a huge service if you awarded me this phone. I need it.

i've been flimflammed or something like that. i used my upgrade to get the droid and a month later the new one comes out. i updated from bb storm

I currently own the Storm 1. I only have four 3rd party apps installed and my phone constantly freezes up and wants me to un-install an app I paid for them not happening so I deal with it. I have seen android phones in action but never got to touch one. Let this be my first.

The Storm 1 is like a bad girlfriend from high school. You think you love her and you convince yourself that you do, but the truth is that you don't know what else is on the playing field. Then the sexy Droid Incredible comes along with it's Google Maps Navigation, fast Webkit browser, smooth UI and transitions, great multitouch tracking, 8MP camera, Google Voice integration, and impressive search capabilities. At that point, I've been seduced.
Will I miss some of the good ole' days - sure. Constantly waiting for OS leaks to see if they will stop the color banding on the screen. Trying to blow the dust from under my screen out with a can of compressed air. Installing a hybrid OS to try to deal with the weak signal and slow accelerometer reactions. Pulling the battery because it had frozen when I really needed directions to that big meeting. I did had fun tweaking settings and software to try to make the phone reliable. But the time for games is over, I'm ready to be a man with an amazing Droid Incredible.

Well, on saturday, I left my blackberry storm 9530 on my friend's car bumper as we drove away towing a trailer. The trailer ran over the phone, and the screen is now completely destroyed. It doesn't even light up anymore, at all. So, I was forced to activate my old Motorolla KRzr. I'm not eligible for a new phone upgrade until october. So I am stuck with out a smart phone for the next 6 months... unless I want to fork out $500.
Why I Should Win!

Also, the plastic cover for where the power charger connects has been worn down to a slim clear flimsy rubber strip that doesn't stay put and the memory card slot is corroded with dust, dirt, and other debris. It's time for a new phone, but I have no upgrade available! I could really use a new phone and the Incredible would help me move into the 21st century!

My current phone really isn't sorry. It is an LG Venus and I like it enough to hang on to it. My son left Verizon to get an I-Phone. Seeing that thing has me wanting a smart phone, but I don't like Apple and I like AT&T less. Winning an Incredible would be nice, but I'm pretty certain I will have a Droid soon.
I have the MOTO Droid, the thing is I'm just tired of MOTO. The real reason I want this phone is because my wife said I cant buy it so I would love to rub it in her face if I won it.
My current phone is an Eris, not a sorry phone but if I win an Incredible all my family will be on android and we will FB and tweet all the time, even if he's just outside with our dog or in the computer room not looking up sites he knows he should not be. An android family is a happy family.
My cellphone is a lame little Motorola MOTO™ W755. And it works OK for a not-so-smart-phone, but a Droid Incredible can do so much more. It would really make my life soooo much better. It would make the whole world better.
It's time for you to give that "free" Incredible to me. In fact, if you did give me that phone, I could fix all of the world's problems.

I'm getting rid of my sorry Storm 1 for the Droid Incredible. I look forward to a phone that works.
I'm still on my Razr v3m. Seem edits although limited made it workable till this day. Had to ditch the horrible samsung glide.
Well my current verizon smartphone is a XV6800 running Windows 6.1 which is now two + years old. Comparing the Incredeble to this device is truly "no comparison." Can't wait to win a device or purchase two of them...
