Win Mobile SD card

I will be coming from winmobile. Will the 8 gb memory card in my treo pro work in the EVO without formatting. In other words, will my music, photos, MS word files on my memory card for the treo pro work in the EVO without formatting?

Probably, but the best thing you can do is copy all the files you have on that card to your PC, format the card in the Evo, then copy it all back. That should keep your data safe. Of course, I have no idea what the directory structure for Winmobile is, so things may be in the wrong place.

I would expect you will have to copy each specific folder you want to keep (photos, music, videos) etc off your computer then format the card in the Evo. After that, put the folders on there and hopefully Android will detect them automatically. You might have to rename them or create new file paths though.

don't copy everything back to the card.
Just in case there are errors with some files.
Copy contents to the pc.
then format the card in the new device.
then copy items a few at a time.
After a day or so transfer everything over.
