I think vr will be really cool when used with other technologies. One example is for home insurance companies to use automated drones equipped with cameras to gather image data of inaccessible disaster areas, and then use vr to analyze the data. This means you wouldn't have to send an adjuster out to analyze the damage.
I'm excited to see all the novel ideas that come with the use of vr paired with other up and coming or currently existing technologies.

Is this random? What excites me most about the future of VR in smart phones is being able to view VR content (which will hopefully become more prevalent due to the work of Oculus and other VR companies) on the go, which is the original purpose of a smartphone. This way, we don't have to wait for mobile technology to catch up to PC technology: we can save a video (or game) on our phone and still view it in VR.

I'm excited to be able to use my phone for an immersive experience and to see what cool things developers do with. VR with a phone is a great idea because you already have a really high quality screen on your phone why not just use that for VR

I am look forward to seeing what all the hype is about. I've never seen VR on a phone before. I remember playing Nintendo Virtual Boy when I was younger and thinking how cool it was. I want my mind to be blown away with this new VR technology.

I used my phone with google cardboard and for what it is I thought it was a good experience so I am excited to see what can be further achieved in games and other virtual reality experiences using our phones.
